Petrochemical Bulk Storage Facilities

ALRODE FUEL DEPOT PROJECT

SOUTH AFRICA | SASOL TECHNOLOGY (Pty) LTD

DESCRIPTION

The project entails the Engineering, Procurement and construction management of the wholesale logistics for Sasol Oil in Alrode. The fuel depot was designed for a capacity of 1 436 022 m3/yr of petrol (3 grades) and 884 443 m3/yr of diesel (2 grades). Additive handling, vapour recovery, loading and off-loading facilities formed part of the project.

PRETORIA WEST DEPOT UPGRADE

DESCRIPTION

The project entails the upgrade of the Pretoria West Fuel Depot to a burning fuel depot. The project entails engineering, procurement and construction management services. The depot will cater for future off-loading, storage and loading demands.

DESCRIPTION

The project entails the engineering, procurement and construction management of the OR Tanmbo fuel storage facility. The facility consists of two 6 300 m3 double steel skin tanks, 30” suction feeder line, 10” supply pipeline, upgrading of existing pumps, upgrading of existing SCADA and Telemetry and upgrading of fire water system.
