Jan joined VGI in 1992 as a Civil Engineer. In 1996, he was appointed as an associate at the firm and in 1997 as a director.
Jan has 34 years’ experience in petrochemical projects, specialising in overland gas and fuel pipelines, petrochemical storage facilities and firefighting systems at petrochemical facilities.
Prior to joining VGI, Jan worked for Jordaan & Joubert Consulting Engineers and was a member of the SA Defence Force, Core of Engineers
